# Difference between report types
## This article breaks down the difference between Screening, Decisioning, Moniroting and Alerting reports on Wiserfunding
Wiserfunding's Screening and Decisioning are two fundamentally different product types that serve different purposes;
**Wiserfunding Screening** reports offer a concise overview designed for initial assessments, giving users key insights into an SME’s financial health, creditworthiness, and environmental impact. These reports are useful when you need a quick, high-level view of potential risks.
**Wiserfunding Decisioning** reports provide a deeper, more thorough analysis, incorporating long-term financial data, risk pricing, and detailed governance structures. This makes them ideal for informed, final decision-making when a comprehensive understanding of the business is required.
**Wiserfunding Monitoring** when enabled, Wiserfunding automatically runs reports within a portfolio, at user-defined intervals (1, 3, 6, or 12 months), helping users stay up-to-date with ongoing changes in an SME’s financial health and risk profile. This ensures continuous oversight and proactive risk management.
**Wiserfunding Alerting** notifies users of changes in an SME’s Probability of Default (PD) or Z-score, within a portfolio, based on user-defined thresholds. When an alert is triggered, users can view the alert and generate an Alerting report for detailed insights.
