This article is for users who have connected their Codat portal to Wiserfunding, and wish to test their integration, but do not have companies connected to Codat yet.
Please refer to this article to integrate your Codat with Wiserfunding.
In this instance, our integration will not display companies, as there are none connected on Codat - we might also see error messages as our system expects data from Codat, but receives none.
Please be aware of any potential costs associated to using your Codat integration outside of the testing parameters outlined in this article.
Follow the steps outlined below to create a company with sample data.
1. Begin by accessing your Codat portal and navigate to the Companies Tab.

2.a. Click on Invite Company
2.b. Copy the link provided in the pop-up
3. Paste the link in a new tab and click Enter/Return/Go
4.a. Give the sandbox company a name
4.b. Select the Sandbox environment
4.c. Click Next to connect the Sandbox Account details to your Codat portal
5.a Provide an Email address and password for this Sandbox account
5.b. Select the size of the Sandbox company: Small, Medium, Large
5.c. Click Allow Access to continue
6.a. If required, you can repeat this process to connect the Sandbox Commerce and Banking details
6.b. Clicking Finish completes the set-up.
Once you have created the Sandbox SME in Codat, you can test the integration on Wiserfunding.
Using this Sandbox SME in Wiserfunding
To avoid any charge or cost while testing an integration, we recommend that our users perform these tests with Scottish Seabird Centre [SC172288]
1. Begin by running a single company report for Scottish Seabird Centre (SC172288)
2. Navigate to Data Sources, and select Import Data
3. With Codat as your selected source, find the sandbox company created for testing
4. Select Try with Suggested to proceed
5. Select a sampling frequency and the data period to access
6. Click Generate New Report to complete the process.
Please note:
The steps indicated above can be reliably used to test the Codat-Wiserfunding integration. However, the reliability of our risk metrics is negligible when cross-matching Codat data of SME 'A' over a different SME (SME 'B')
