Version 1.1.0 Release Notes

This release contains new and improved features and minor bugfixes in general release.

New Company Report Features and Enhancements

Searchable Company Reports

Customers can now search their past reports by company name to find all reports they have run for that company.

Batch Job Size Increase

We have raised the limit on batch job reports to 3000 companies per batch.

Export to Excel

The Wiserfunding platform now imports and exports to Excel by preference, we still support csv but recommend customers to use Excel files.

Sandbox Company

Customers wishing to test their API integrations can use UK Company SC172288 (Scottish Seabird Centre) without being charged for report usage.

Financials Filing Type

The actual filing type used for ADS reports is now supported in the API and exported to Excel and csv as financials.filing_type.

Expanded Risk Outlook Commentary

The commentary in the platform has been made more detailed and structured on the four key themes of;

  • Performance metrics including leverage, liquidity, profitability and indebtedness,
  • Governance metrics including judgements and payment remarks,
  • Legal status of company if significant e.g., Dissolved, Bankrupt, In Liquidation, Distressed, Dormant or Inactive,
  • Source of data e.g., if company accounts are not available then benchmarks for similar companies in that country may be used.

New Codat Features and Enhancements

Codat Auto Categorisation

When importing management reports the platform now gives you the option to accept the categorisation of an account determined by Codat's ML models as well as being able to specify manually.

Codat Import UX Improvement

When importing from Codat you can now see the name of the company from the report to help them identify it from all the companies listed by Codat.

Bug Fixes

Financial Accounts Indicators

When you provide your own data for the current year the indicator will now confirm this with a green tick.

Graphs of very small ratios

We have fixed a bug with rendering very small ratios and can now render trend charts correctly for ratios below 0.001.

Interpolated values in Financials

We no longer show '0' or '1' for financials used to derive ratios when there were no filed values available.

PDF Reports

The x-axis dates in some reports were hard to read, these have been made more consistent with the platform.

Advanced Search Currency List

Currencies are now listed by Currency not by Country as many countries use the Euro.

Enter button on Advanced search would refresh the page

Pressing the enter button on the Company Id field now just activates the search as expected.

Some financials were defaulting to 0 or 1

The risk and credit scoring models apply default of 0 or 1 to some measures in order to prevent divide by zero errors when a company has not filed any value. We now return nulls to avoid giving the potentially misleading impression that the company filed a value.
