# Which Industry Identifiers do I use?
## This article outlines which Industry Sector are currently accepted by our platform, and maps them to NACE, NIC and GICS equivalents.
**Industry Sector** Codes are used to classify business entities by the type of industry in which they are engaged.
Classed as a *Business Service*, Wiserfunding can be found with the **Industry Sector Code 34**

**NACE** (Nomenclature of Economic Activities) designates the integrated classification system for products and economic activities.
Classed under *Activities of head offices; management consultancy activities*, Wiserfunding can be found with the NACE Code 70

**GICS** codes, are a widely recognised classification system used to categorise companies and their activities into sectors and industries.
The GICS structure is designed to facilitate the investment research process and investment decision-making.
