# How to upload credit facility information
## This article outlines how to upload credit facility information to a single company
To add credit facility information for companies, simply upload the data using the template contained within our platform.:
- 'Portfolios' \> Enter a Portfolio,
- Click on 'Upload Credit Facility Information',
- 'Templates',
Credit facility files can also be uploaded from the Companies View page.
To upload the file:
- Select '**Upload your CSV or Excel file'.**
- *Or drag and drop your file into the upload manager.*
- Navigate to where your file is located and select '**Open**'.
- The platform will check whether the file is valid.
*(any issues will be displayed in the right of the upload manager)*
- Click '**Upload**'.
*Required* fields when uploading an MDI file into the platform:
*The file will fail its validity check if any of these are missing.*
1. Loan\_ID, *(Your Internal ID)*
2. Company\_ID,
3. ISO\_Code,
4. Currency,
5. Outstanding\_Balance,
6. Balance\_Date,
7. Commitment\_Limit,
8. Security\_Type, *(Secured, Unsecured)*
9. Security\_Value, *(If Security\_Type = Secured)*
10. Security\_Valuation\_Date, *(If Security\_Type = Secured)*
11. Start\_Drawdown\_Date,
12. Maturity\_Date,
13. Interest\_Rate,
Please note: our accepted date/period format is **YYYY-MM-DD**.
Uploaded credit facility information will be visualised within a portfolio report:
SME Z-score distribution, PD Distribution, and PD by Country graphs will all reflect the provided inputs.
As Wiserfunding uses **commas (,)** as default delimiters/separators, CSV files with **semicolons (;)** as delimiters/separators will give you upload issues.
