How do I run multiple companies providing my own data?

This article outlines how to run multiple company risk assessments in a batch using your own data

To run a multiple company risk assessment in a batch using you own data simply upload the data in the Wiserfunding CSV format.

Wiserfunding have created a template that you can populate with financial data which will transform the data into the required CSV format. To access the template simply navigate to:

  • 'Multiple Company' > 'Create a Batch Report'
  • Under 'CSV Templates' download the 'Excel Batch MDI Template

For a guide on using the 'Excel Batch MDI Template', please read the following article.

To run multiple companies in a batch simply:

  • Select 'Multiple Companies' from the left hand panel - this is where you will find any batches in progress or completed in the past
  • Select 'Create a Batch Report'
  • Select 'Upload your CSV'
(a CSV template is available to populate if required: 'Batch MDI Template [.csv]')
  • Navigate to where your CSV file is located and select 'Open'
  • The platform will check whether the CSV file is valid
(any issues will be displayed in the right of the upload manager)
  • Select 'Run Batch'
The required fields when uploading an MDI file into the platform:
The file will fail its validity check if one of these are missing.
  1. Company ID
  2. Company Name
  3. Creditors
  4. Currency (ISO 4217)
  5. Debtors
  6. Inventory
  7. ISO (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code)
  8. Loans
  9. Period (formatted as YYYY-MM-DD or YYYY)
  10. Total Assets (Required on API Only)
It's worth mentioning here - the more detailed the financial data included in the MDI file, the better the produced assessment will be.
Inputting just these will be enough to generate benchmark scores.

Your batch will run in the background and you will receive an email once the batch has been completed.

To cancel a batch report:

  • Click on the Ellipsis button, and
  • Select the 'Cancel' button.

This will cancel the batch and end the process before it is completed.

Depending on Excel's regional setting, your default delimiter/separator may be either commas (,) or semicolons (;) to separate items in a CSV file. As Wiserfunding uses commas (,) as default delimiters/separators, CSV files with semicolons (;) as delimiters/separators will give you upload issues.

In this case, please read this article.
